Hey guys I have a friend who has a TB - I had never heard of them - but upon researching I found this site. I think its a tb1000a - has a stamped serial - 1352. How would I confirm this? Thanks in advance!

Yep, that is a TB1000A. Pickguard is missing, but that's definitely a Bean. Would it be okay to post those photos in the Bean photo gallery?
Thanks! admin

Hi!
Sure - you are welcome to use the photos - We also have the pick guard - and are trying to source some knobs and need to replace pickup selector... any suggestions?
Thanks a lot.

Hello
Thanks for letting me post those photos. I'll get them up shortly.
Original knobs will be hard (next to impossible). The 'bottle-top' knobs are black (similar to Gibson speed knobs) with numbers/hashes screened on them (in white).
The other style knob is the 'sansui' style knobs which are machined and have rough grooves in them.
Both knobs were created just for TBG back in the day, so are extremely hard to find now. The easiest replacement would be black 'vintage' speed knobs by Gibson.
The pickup switch is a SwitchCraft.
