The guitar has been found and the two parties are in communication with each other, the proper authorities have also been notified.

UPDATE!!!

Well, it's a good news story, Travis Bean 509 (aka the prodigal son) is on its way back to the original owner in Ireland.

After just a short time in my possession, I'm down a few thousand dollars, but that lovely bean should be back in the right hands after almost 6 years!!!

I just hope others in the community would do the same for me if I found myself in this predicament!

Someone owes me a beer!

Cheers,
Daniel

Righteous.

Daniel, you are a gentleman, a scholar, and a good man. You have set an example for us all. I'll gladly buy you a beer anytime. Let me know if you ever make it to Boulder.

Cheers,

Peter

Wow, what an incredible real life story ... we should write a movie about that guitar's adventures ...

Daniel is indeed 'The Man'. It's sad that the seller of this item has since disappeared and has taken no responsibility for passing on a stolen item to an unsuspecting (and highly honourable) musician - not to mention a long time bean expert and player. If buying him a round is going to be challenging, (given the 20+ hour flight and all) how about checking out Daniel's band and new EP?
