Only one photo...appears to be the original finish (nicely yellowed)....no real info in the listing...located in Beverly Hills...seller has a bunch of furniture for sale as well...
We'll see if anyone bites. Maybe we can learn more about the guitar.

$8000 seems like a fair price if its all original custom color beans are basically extinct from the get go

The E-Bay listing now says, "thin body/wide horn model around 1978 to 1979 The Body KOA Heavy hard wood".
It doesn't look like a thin body/wide horn model to my eyes. Given the serial number it was probably made in 1977-78. It's interesting how frequently people seem to get this stuff wrong in E-Bay listings.
Koa is a heavy hard wood....

Hello BoulderBean
This is a funny one. I was contacted by this person, and they wanted information about #1319.. they didn't specify Standard or Artist. I thought they were referring to the Artist on eBay now, since this was before they listed the Standard (they didn't mention they were going to list anything)...

Since they listed the Standard, I emailed them back to correct the information I sent, but the listing has not been updated. Talk about the odds of two #1319s on eBay at the same time!

I didn't put it together that the two guitars on E-Bay are both #1319 - one a standard and one an Artist. That is a freak occurrence for sure!
Since the standard and artist lines got non-unique serial numbers starting after 1000 (I think) this shows how much more popular the less expensive standards were. By the time Artist 1319 was built, the necks were imron coated and the body had changed, but Standard 1319 is the original design. Those guitars could have been built two years apart I guess.
I'm still partial to the older narrow horned, thick bodied guitars, but that's based purely on looks since I've never played a wide horned Bean.

Admin, hello, I dont see the # 1319 on the koa artist??? He lists it as 13** and the close ups of the head-stock didn't look like the numbers 19. I will study the listing again. I may have missed something. Do you know of any other two guitars (artist/standard) that do have the same numbers? Thanks
