In the late 1990s, there was a Travis Bean site run by Jodi Shapiro located at http://www.lexiconoclast.com/bean (try the wayback machine!!) There was a registry at that site that, like the one here, made public serial numbers and the model guitars of those serial numbers. At one point, while I was trying to get a better understanding of the serial number schema used by Travis Bean, I downloaded all the public info from Jodi's site.

Recently, on a lark, I compared that list (about 500 entries) with the registry at this site. From that old data, there are about 100 guitars and basses that haven't been added to the active registry. For what it may be worth, I have listed them at the following site.

http://www.autohobbydiges.....m_guitars/TBregistry.html

Jodi had listed Basses and Wedge Basses together, so on my list, all of those listed as TB2000's. that might make that particular part of the list utterly useless.

Beans rule.

Hello Doug

I completely forgot about the lexiconclast site! I think it would be great to get these in. I'll start on it right away. I was able to find the descriptions using the 'way back machine'.. so I'll add the primary details, and mention www.lexiconoclast.com/bean in the description of the entry.

Thanks!

Okay.. I think I have most of them added. WayBack didn't have archives of TB1000A/S, so I couldn't get additional info, but I was able to get finish colors, etc for TB500 and TB2000. Are you sure about the Wedge basses being included in TB2000? I remember my friends Wedge bass was listed in the TB3000/TB4000 section.

I remember I wanted to get my Standard listed in that database.. and for weeks I would email without getting a response. In fact, that Bean was never entered in that list... and that was the reason I started this site.

Thanks!
