I'm just curious if anyone can answer this.Back in the early 80's when I started playing the lady who taught me to play had a short scale TB2000(not sure if the short scale was that model)but she had met Travis and he built that bass for her because a long scale was too big for her.She told me that there was only 3 of those built,2 for Bill Wyman and the one she had.Can anybody confirm or deny this?

Hello

Was this in Minnesota or Wisconsin?

Wyman did own two short scale basses (#941 and #942).

Thanks!

This was in Wisconsin, just a little north of Milwaukee.I lost touch with the lady who had this one so I don't know if she still has it.I wanted to know if I was lucky enough to have played such a rare instrument, even though I was just a kid at the time!

i forget when, where and how but i came across someone a couple years ago claiming to have one of the tb2000 short scales. he was unwilling to part with it. I think I remember Kevin from EGC telling me there were only three of them made.
