Would having fret work on my TB1000S by one of the best repair shops in Boston reduce it's value even if it eliminated fret buzzing?

Tasteful and restrained fretwork is generally considered acceptable on most vintage guitars. Fortunately Travis Beans are still working guitars and are most appreciated when they play well. If you are refretting, avoid planing the fretboard unless absolutely necessary and don't use big frets that require re-cutting the fret slots. When you get into the ridiculous value guitars like 59 les pauls original frets affect the value, but fortunately Travis Beans are not there.....(yet?)
NEVER change original parts or wiring and NEVER over polish laquer finishes to remove scuffs and scratches. Little "improvements" like this have devalued many vintage guitars. These comments apply only to all original guitars and are IMHO of course.
