Saw a 500 with cracks on the back, where the neck meets the body. The guy said that almost all 500's have that issue. Is this true?

My 500 didn´t have any cracks when I bought it a year ago. After my first gig it got two cracks on both sides of the neck joint. Nothing to about it except maybe put some glue if they keep expanding. Does not affect playing ability or sound.
