Hello All
This has been on the to-do list FOREVER, and I've been chipping at it for the last couple of weeks. This will provide images based off of model and sorted based on serial. Also, I'll be incorporating this into the database Bean form.. so you can upload (no longer 'link') files, and they'll be added to the gallery AND associated with the Bean entry.
Right now, I'm working on the upload form and should be available shortly. This will only allow members to upload. There will be a short time for approvals.. still working on that system (has issues).

WOW!!! Fantastic job! What a great resource...Thanks for putting that together. When I have some time I will check to see if I have any images that are missing from your list.

I'm seeing double.. can't tell if it's the late night beer after the all day coffee or general lack of sleep.. but uploader is almost done.
It'll be great once I get this associating with the Bean database.. then we'll be cookin' with gas.

Okay.. upload is set up. Again, you need to be logged in. 4MB max on individual photos. There is a approval process. Just select model, add serial, upload image, and offer notes (if any).
I'll be working on paging next and associating them to the database. Please let me know if you run into any problems. Provide any error messages.
Also, if you see any duplicates, let me know as well.

Paging within the gallery is in place now. Thanks to those that have uploaded images. Everything is working great.

yes this is very very nice. Admin, you're adapting to the needs of the community, how cool!
Another thought -- I bet there would be enough interest to have a gallery space for non-TB but related guitars (Velenos, EGCs, Kramers, other weirdos), if they're particularly interesting. Or maybe that just makes things too confusing. Any opinions on that?

Thanks rlrlrl. I definitely want to meet the needs ot the community. My main priority is to preserve the history of these awesome instruments. Over the years these PhotoBucket accounts, privately hosted images and various other image hosting services eventually go away, and those images are lost. If we get them here, we'll be preserving them for the long haul.
I do like you idea about the different guitars manufacturers! I definitely have some web sections I'm trying to get in place first though... but that idea is great.

Great job - now I'll finally get around to taking a couple photos of my TB's (rather than just archiving images I find off the net...)
Is there a way to expand the number of images per page and/or browse through the thumbnails faster?

mmm yeah, it's always frustrating to click a link and find that the pictures no longer exist. the internet is supposed to be this great storehouse of information, but you never know when things will suddenly disappear. cheers again.
