Beat to hell. It had an added extra pot on lower horn (master volume) - I recently removed it, so now there is just a 3/8" hole there. Many scratches and a gouge or two. Two tiny screw holes on upper horn. Just got a NOS pick-guard, which makes a surprising difference in the overall appearance. Otherwise, it's solid. My plan is a complete restoration, though, due to the condition of the wood, I will have to paint it rather than keep it a natural finish.
