i stumbled upon this community by chance and having done further research am amazed. I have always thought beans were cool and have owned one in the past. the prices they are going for these days. wow. i remember passing on them for $1,000 - all day long. The bean i owned i believe i payed $600 around 93-94. i mean i was just a big lee ranaldo fan at the time. i remember it setting up nice and being a pretty solid piece but christ. someone tell me the appeal. what is it? rarity? the prices these guitars are going for blows my mind. hope not to offend anyone with my somewhat pointless post.
