is it sensible for a right hand player to play on a left handed TB? would i have to replace the nut and the bridge?

You do not need to replace the nut, just take it off and turn it around for R/H. For the bridge you just have to change the bridge saddles around from L/H to R/H, I have done this, it only takes a couple of minutes and works perfect.

It's not easy to play upside down as due to the balance it becomes very, very neck heavy and the control knobs get in the way but it can be done as I played a right handed upside-down Bean bass for years until I had a replica body custom made for me but I would like an original L/H Bean body.
I have a Right Handed Travis Bean bass body to trade for a left handed one if it is one of the later thinner bodied Beans and if it is Koa.

Hello Scheflan, sorry but I would never sell my TB bass as I have owned it so long it feels a family member now. Also the neck is emron covered which I like more than the without. Also John Paul Jones bass guitar builder and technician Hugh Manson set it all up for me and it now plays just awesome. All I would be interested in is trading a R/H body for a L/H body and it would have to be a latter body with the wide cutaway. Good luck in your hunt for a TB bass.
