Does anyone know what the deal is with the original pickups? Were they stock pickups made by another manufacturer, or were they custom made by Travis Bean?

The pickups were made by Travis Bean and use powerful alnico magnets. They are definitely not standard stock. They are a critical component of the unique Travis Bean sound.
