I have an Artist from which some sadist chopped the cutaway horns. I have a Standard body I could trade plus some cash depending on condition, or I'll buy your Artist body outright. Failing this, does anyone know a luthier who has some koa, could graft some horns on, then sunburst to cover the work?

HI,
I have an Artist body that I might be willing to swap. It was originally white and someone painted yellow, some of the yellow has worn off. Inside the electronics cavity, it's still all white and it's written "W/P" I'm told this means that it was painted white at the factory. The body number is 1294. It can be stripped down to bare wood and clear coated, but I have 2 Koa Standard bodies and the bare wood inside this Artist doesn't look nearly as dark as the 2 Standards, so I don't think the Artist I have is Koa.
