My 1000S #1355 has a double pickguard, identical ones on each side of strings, looks to be from factory tht way. Anybody else have one or know anything about this?
Thanks, Keith

HI All,

I once made a double pickguard for a customer to put on his Travis Bean, but I don't think he ever told me the number on that one. Anyway, this COULD be that guitar????? If you want, you can see the pickguard I made for him, I took a picture of it. I just put that picture on my site so you can see it, just go to: http://www.baileycustomguitar.com/Parts.html

I can't say that this IS the pickguard in question here, but it is possible, I guess. The body in the picture is one I already had, I never saw the one that the customer had.

I hope this helps!

HI!

I just checked the database and there's no way that I made that one. The one I made was one piece and only a couple years ago! So, there's no way that I did this in 1985. Sorry for any confusion.

Keith here- no mine is just like the regular one only a second one on the upper side as well - like you took two bottom ones annd flipped one over and put it on top.

HI

Yeah, I got it after I read the database info on the guitar. Maybe I should have gone there before I posted??? Sorry.
