This guitar has an interesting history. The story told by my aunt is that her husband was an owner - or maybe an investor - in the Travis Bean company. He was Indian (he passed away many years ago). When I traveled to India in 1994, my aunt gave me the guitar as a gift. Its condition was based on being stored in the humid basement of my aunt's apartment in Bombay, India. The paperwork in the case indicates that the guitar was purchased at Belisle Music in Manchester New Hampshire on August 12th - but the year was not listed. I brought the guitar back from India to Massachusetts, where I live.
