I have Artist 1397. The nut wasnt finished from the factory, the spacing was all wrong etc. The guitar has a strange past anyways. I was finishing the nut and it popped off. Ive removed and reworked many nuts on Beans, but this one had the serial number etched into it. Has anyone else ever seen this? It would make sense to do it, I just havent ever seen that before.

Hey Kevin, Do you have a picture of this nut? I could check later on my TB to see if I have that too. BTW, how is TB500 163 Restoration going? is the guitar playable yet?
