I have Artist 1397. The nut wasnt finished from the factory, the spacing was all wrong etc. The guitar has a strange past anyways. I was finishing the nut and it popped off. Ive removed and reworked many nuts on Beans, but this one had the serial number etched into it. Has anyone else ever seen this? It would make sense to do it, I just havent ever seen that before.

Hey Kevin,
Do you have a picture of this nut?
I could check later on my TB to see if I have that too.
BTW, how is TB500 163 Restoration going? is the guitar playable yet?

Ill upload the pics as soon as I can, but yes i do have pics.

Also the 500 is nearly ready. The pickups etc have been reworked as well as the headstock. Im going to with a polished neck for the time being, but there is a fellow in town that can do imron paint, so may be one day it will be black again.

Ill get pics as soon as its done.
