I am curious to hear what peoples favorite songs are using a bean.
One of my top 5 is "Billiard Player Song" by Shellac

Any song on GOAT, by The Jesus Lizard, but If I had to pick one, Seasick. Or perhaps Gladiator off of LIAR also by The Jesus Lizard.
Other great Bean records:
Ya'Red Fair Scratch by Phleg Camp & At Action Park by Shellac

Karen Koltrane by Sonic Youth (Thousand Leaves record) - saw Lee Ranaldo play this one live at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne years ago with a TB standard - it was like standing directly beneath the bells at Notre Dame Cathedral - big, straight-as-an-arrow, chiming notes.
Of course 'Goat' defines pure TB usefulness, too!

Deadheads can debate this subject endlessly, but I'll put in a plug for an old favorite -
Grateful Dead May 8, 1977 Barton Hall Cornell University
Garcia playing his 500 (probably #12 "the Enemy is Listening"). This was one of the most heavily traded tapes in the years before CDs and the internet and for good reason. The sound is immense. Garcia make the Bean sparkle on Loser, Jack Straw, Brown-eyed women, Dancin' in the streets, Scarlet Begonias, Fire on the Mountain, Estimated Prophet, and Morning dew.
Driving in my old Subaru late at night with the tape deck cranked as loud as the speakers could stand it. This is the sound that made me search out and buy a Bean.
