At the risk of sounding dumb, I'm not sure. I got it from Marc McElwee when I was in my last year in high school. It's literally been in the original case, moving from closet to closet as I've moved over the last 30 years. I've been trying to find out how much these are worth these days.

I'm just looking for a fair price. As I stated it has pretty much been sitting in the original case since 1974. I'm not sure why I have hung on to it all this time. And I am not really sure what the guitar in this type of condition is worth. If I could get something close to $1400 I'd be happy.

If your Custom is as nice as described I've got a friend who is very interested and will pay handsomely. I recently sold my Standard but he was specifically interested in an early Custom.

Diamondmine and dgreg are true Bean fans. They also have bank accounts that rival Donald Trump!! Us poor working stiffs will have to buy from these guys Thanx for sharing. I guess i'll wait for the guitar show.
