Does anyone know a currently made hard case or a fairly easy to find case that fits the TB1000s? Im still lugging my standard around in a soft gig bag that it came with and that just doesnt seem right. I dont know if the serial number matters as Ive heard that the horns on later ones are a little different. Mine is around early 1000 so I think it is pre-change over. Also if anyone has an extra case that fits Id be interested, it doesnt have to be an original case or anything though. thanks a lot

i own an IBANEZ AM73 and the case is being used for my friend's TB1000A so that may be the way to go. you can go to the ibanez website and order cases. they're actually very nice cases too.

I have a "coffin case" for my TB2000. You can stick just about anything in there, since it's not moulded to a certain shape. I'd check in to some universal cases like that.

But since it isn't moulded to any certain shape does the guitar move around a lot in the coffin case?

Nope. The middle of the case has a raised part that the neck sits in, keeping the bass from sliding side to side. I'm sure you could go to your local guitar center with your guitar and test fit it. They're like $100 or something.
