I live in San Francisco, work for a large tech company that often makes products that start with the letter i and is associated with fruit, play regularly and love all stringed instruments with core components made of aluminum.

The Clash, Sonic Youth, Shellac/Big Black/RapeMan, PIL, Revolting Cocks/Ministry, Jesus Lizard, Bill Withers, P-Funk, Bootsy, Magnum, The Gories, any old Mo-Town and Cadillac records, QOTSA, Faith No More, Guided By Voices, MinuteMen (and anything mike watt touches), The Stooges (and anything iggy touches really), Mission of Burma, The Vaseline's, Belle & Sebastion, Nick Cave (GrinderMan, Bad Seeds and birthday party incantations), Amanda Palmer, Ben Folds, Slayer, and a good variety of early hip hop.

Pedals: Lots of EHX (Big Muff, Pog (I & II), Stereo PloyChorus, etc. etc. etc.) and MXR as well as a couple I have customer built.
