Description

Description:   This historical lined fretless TB2000 bass belongs to Mick Karn. Mick played this bass on the Japan albums, Obscure Alternatives, Quiet Life, Gentlemen Take Polaroid’s and numerous hit singles.

This is Mick’s second Travis Bean. The first had a serial number of 002 and was stolen after a concert in Brighton UK when Japan supported Jim Capaldi many years ago. He then bought 441 to replace it. I asked Medium Productions for this information and they asked if anyone has a record of who now owns 002 it would be interesting to know who they are and possibly how they came by it. Not obviously because anybody suspects them, it would just be historically interesting to know.
