Mick Karn who played a Travis Bean TB2000 in Japan passed away yesterday (Jan 4,2011)

"Japan bass player Mick Karn died of cancer on Tuesday (January 4) afternoon at the age of 52. A statement posted on his website says that Karn was "surrounded by friends and family" when he "passed away peacefully" at his Chelsea home in West London. "

He got an interesting 'watery' kind of sound from the TBGB.
