I bought my Travis Bean guitar in Hollywood CA at Guitars R Us just after recording my first major album with my band at the time. I was getting very into slide guitar and as a kid seeing some of my heros like Joe Perry, Ace Frehley & Rick Nielsen play Travis Bean's in pin-ups in Creem & Circus mag i had to have one!!! it became my slide guitar machine and still is to this day!! It was a Koa finnish but i refinished it to white in 1991.
