so i just got my tb2000 in the mail, however, there was an issue with the D string machine head. the pot metal that held it into the headstock without moving cracked and broke. so now the machine head spins.
i found a new schaller machine head (that i would have to order) that seems to be the same thing (with the pot metal pegs) do you think this will work on the tb2000?

I think the model number of the Schaller 2X2 bass tuners used on the TB2000 are M4S. You can see these on the Schaller site.
http://www.schaller-guitarparts.de/1137.htm
There is also an M4A but I can't get a picture up so don't know the difference between the M4S and M4A . I have seen sets come up on Ebay. If it's just the tuner bushings you need you can try this link
http://www.guitarpartsres.....e.com/bass_tunerparts.htm
as it might be cheaper than buying a whole tuner set, if it's a 100% perfect fit I have no idea. Even though for me I would by a Schaller set just for the tuner bushing to keep the TB 100% original.
There was someone on this site selling 2 Schaller TB2000 tuners, get in contact to see if he still have them for sale and if they include the tuner bushings
