Seeing that T-shirt on the current ebay listing got me to thinking. Has anyone made reissue tee shirts? Would collectors be into having one? Anyone have a clean logo they can send me? If no one else takes this on, I will. Just need a logo.
Thoughts?

i noticed thos garcia ones are selling like hotcakes but i'm certainly not shelling out a few grand to get the one that's going with one of the beans that's up for sale now.
i don't have a logo but I'd probably buy a tshirt off you if they come out nice.

Dank, didn't you get the Bean that had the t shirt with it? How about some closeup photos of the logo laid out flat so someone can make more?

doug and admins thread about the old archive of beans led me to a decent logo that could be used to make a t-shirt. i am going to use this to make myself one, but don't plan on making more than one, but i thought you guys might find it worthy of use as well.
it can be found here http://web.archive.org/we.....w.lexiconoclast.com/bean/
i will probably clean it up in photoshop too and host the image sometime soon. i'll do that if no one beats me to it.

I had the same thought! let us know how the photoshop goes...I don't have the computer skills to do that...but what a cool t shirt logo!....I like the patent drawing too....maybe the back?

hey doug, you don't have access to a scanner do you? i think a scanned image of your brochure might be more true to the original than my photoshop work. the "travis bean" text will clean up just fine but the "fine guitars..." is really a mess when enlarged. i am sure i can do it, it is just going to take more time of which i some how feel like there is less and less of.
i was thinking white ink on a black shirt like the original shirts i have seen on ebay.

How about a small TB headstock on the front with the classic logo on the back? I think that would look pretty sharp.

i like that idea and guitarcharlie's idea of the patent drawing. i haven't investigated pricing for small runs of shirts but i just paid $6/shirt for a run of 50 with just the front printed for my band. i'm not sure how much front and back would add but i personally like the less is more approach to t-shirts. if i get a small run printed i'll probably just do logo on the chest. if i manage to clean up this image i'll post it for whoever wants to use it.

$6 per isn't too bad. Even if a more complicated design raised things to $10 a shirt, I'd be stunned if you couldn't sell 50 at $20 or $25 each more than making your $$ back.
