Howdy folks,
New Bean owner here. Picked up #891 not too long ago and am interested in putting an original set of Bean pickups back in it. They can be good or bad, just need the case with the Travis Bean logo and the bobbins at the very least.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Probably your best bet is having one made from a Fender humbucker. I seem to remember the last Bean pickup went for some insane amount on ebay....they are really hard to find. I need a couple myself and don't have high hopes of finding any. Unfortunately, I know there are other people in the same situation too. Should be fun to see what the next one goes for...if and when that time arrives.

Yeah, I figured as much. After I posted this I said to myself I'm insane. I went and looked at what the last set sold for. I have excellent replacement pickups in the guitar now and should be grateful with those, which I am.

I just picked up a TB1000S on eBay with replacement pickups. Just curious what pickups you have in yours? Also what Fender Humbuckers? Do they sound very god?

Congrats on the bean purchase. I thought it was a pretty cool deal. Original knobs and finish and pickguard and nice looking koa. The original Seth Lover designed Fender humbuckers sound great by the way. Not the reissues, which apparently are nothing like the originals. The originals are expensive, but at least obtainable (as opposed to Travis Bean pickups)
