I realize the time-span Travis Bear guitars were manufactured was relatively short, but is there a serial number database anywhere to more closely track down the manufacture date? Thabk you.

Yes.. the Kaman Article (at the bottom) as some date approximations.

I sure want to thank you for the article and chart. I've always wanted to knOw some history about the company, and if Travis was still aroung. Cool to know how many artists have Beans, too. Again, many thanks. :)

Forgot to add that I'm the one who owns the TB2000" serial 556' pictured on this site. Yes, I still have it. Still keeping an eye out for one missing screw, (replaced, but not correct)" everything else is still original and in the original case. Still nave the warranty letter that came with it. Now I'm glad I kept it all together.
