Custom Travis Bean TB1000A - $1400.

This guitar has an ORIGINAL Travis Bean Artist Body, but that's the ONLY original part. The guitar was custom built by Greg Baily. He made the solid aluminum neck and assembled everything else. You can check out his work here:

http://hometown.aol.com/gbailey842/main.html

The neck is all aluminum except for the rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, just like the original Travis Bean Artist, except that this one has a 12" radius. the frets are Stewart-MacDonald #141. The neck has a brass nut and Grover tuners. The knobs, pots, switch, input jack and the strap buttons were all bought brand new from Stew-Mac also.

The pickups are PRS Santana SE pickups. Greg made solid aluminum mounting rings for them, the stainless steel electronics cavity plate and the pickguard. He also machined the bridge plate from a block of stainless steel.

The Body is a NOS body left from Travis Bean after he went out of business, the body is number 1423. It is the later, thinner style body. There is no Travis Bean number on the neck because he didn't make it. Greg's serial number is stamped into the neck inside so that it can't be seen unless you disassemble the guitar. It's number 025. The body has some nicks and finish cracks here and there. There is a couple deep places near the controls.

The guitar sounds and plays EXCELLENT! But because it is the thin body with a solid aluminum neck, it is neck-heavy... But certainly still playable.

I have lots of pictures, so please let me know if you would like some.

Ground shipping in the USA is included in the price.
