Does anyone know anything about the dealer in Germany who has the Travis Bean Wedge bass and a set of Bean knobs listed on eBay? He€„¢s been listing the bass for as long as I can remember. Originally many many years ago it was listed for $20,000. Originally he disclosed it that it had a neck that could not handle tension well and could only be set up with light gage. I believe at one time he reduced the price to $12,000 but after not selling raised it up to $14,000. And recently he added a set of knobs fo sale for a price that seems at least to me as above what any stable person would pay.

this wedge bass is now being sold by one of the worst ebay dealers ever, a search for the name will show you lots of horror stories.

before that ebay member uli*roth was trying to sell the bass, maybe the guitarplayer uli jon roth?

Yes, it was Uli Jon Roth who had first offered it. He is the one who noted the neck was unstable or not capable of good action with normal strings and normal string tension. I don't know this dealer but I get a sense of his personality. First the knobs were outrageously priced at $550. When that didn't work he did the smart thing and raised the price to $750
